The area is superb for walkers and cyclists alike with Mortimer's and Wyre forests and the Clee and Stretton Hills nearby. The Brecon Beacons and Welsh hills are about an hours drive. Ludlow, ‘the perfect historic town', with its ancient castle, quaint antique shops and gourmet restaurants is 5 miles away while Tenbury Wells – ‘the Town in the Orchard' is a mere 3 miles. Other attractions within easy driving distance include the West Midlands Safari Park , Severn Valley Railway, and the world Heritage Site of Ironbridge.
